What is your photography style?
I specialise in documentary-style storytelling with a touch of editorial flair. That means I focus on candid, emotional moments as they naturally happen, while still making sure your portraits feel polished and beautifully put together.
Do you provide a second shooter?
Most wedding packages include a second photographer. That gives you more complete coverage across the day, including the kind of moments that happen at the same time in different places.
How many photos will we receive?
For a full wedding day, you can usually expect around 50 to 100 edited images per hour of coverage. The focus is always on delivering the strongest photographs that tell the story properly, rather than padding the gallery with duplicates.
What happens if it rains?
Rain does not ruin good photography. Some of the most romantic images happen in soft, dramatic weather, and I always plan for indoor options and bring lighting equipment so the day still photographs beautifully.
What should I wear to my session?
Neutral tones, solid colours, and texture usually work best. Busy patterns and large logos can pull attention away from faces, so once you book I can send guidance to help you choose something that photographs well.
Can I choose the location?
Yes. I can recommend locations that consistently work well, but I am equally happy to shoot somewhere that has personal meaning to you. For locations more than 30 miles outside the area, travel fees may apply.
Do you offer retouching?
All delivered images include standard colour correction and exposure adjustments, along with light touch-ups such as blemish removal or tidying stray hairs. More extensive retouching can be quoted separately if needed.
Who owns the rights to the images?
I retain the copyright as the creator, but you receive a usage licence appropriate to the project. For commercial work, that usually covers your website, social media, and marketing materials, while full copyright buyouts can be discussed separately.
What is your turnaround time for commercial work?
For headshots, branding sessions, and similar commercial shoots, standard turnaround is usually 5 to 7 business days. If you need a faster turnaround, let me know in advance and I can advise on rush options.
Do you provide RAW files?
I do not deliver unedited RAW files. Editing is a big part of the finished service, and the final gallery is intended to reflect the complete professional standard you are booking.
How do I book?
A signed contract and a 25% non-refundable retainer are required to secure your date or booking slot.
How are photos delivered?
Your finished images are delivered through a high-resolution, password-protected online gallery that is easy to view and share.
Are you insured?
Yes. I carry professional liability and equipment insurance, which is often required by wedding venues and commercial locations.
Do you travel?
Yes. I work across Lincolnshire and can travel further for weddings, events, and commercial projects. If travel is involved, I can provide a custom quote based on the location and schedule.
